The incident occurred today (Wednesday), after police received a report of several vehicles broken into at the Haifa Airport parking lot.

Officers from the Zvulun station who arrived at the scene spotted a vehicle that raised their suspicion. According to police, the car was driving without lights and bore different, forged license plates on its front and rear.

The Chase Began

When the officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspects fled the scene, prompting a pursuit.

Police stated that during the chase, the vehicle was driven dangerously, ran red lights, and at one point even rammed a police patrol car.

Officers fired at the vehicle's tires to bring it to a halt. After the car stopped, the officers subdued the two suspects.

Two Suspects Arrested

The detainees are a resident of Acre and a resident of Kiryat Yam, one of whom is a minor. They were transferred for further questioning on suspicion of involvement in the break-ins and the events that unfolded during the pursuit.

The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations against the detainees have not yet been proven in court.
